Listing your hotel on OTAs can surely give your business a nice boost. It will get your extra Bookings that what you are getting as walk-in customers or bookings given by local travel agents.

To list your hotel on OTAs can be a little tideous but since it's a one time activity, it's worth doing it !

In the next few chapters we will share information about listing a hotel on various OTA platforms.

But before listing your hotel on OTAs you need to really think if your hotel really needs presence on OTAs ?

Because there are chances that your hotel is located near a Bus Stand, a Railway Station or some other busy transit point and your hotel is already running at more than 80% occupancy !

In the above mentioned case I do not there you need online presence on OTAs because your hotel already has good occupancy and adding your hotel to OTAs will surely give you more business BUT if you fail to manage the OTA inventory online properly, you might end up getting too many bookings and ultimately Customers might read your property and create a ruckus as you won't be able to accommodate them !


Who Should List Their Hotels On OTAs ?

Hotels which operate at about 40% of 50% Occupancy throughout and have about half of the rooms and sold should definitely list the hotels on as many OTAs as possible.


Who May Not List Their Hotels On OTAs ?

Hotels picture already running at more than 80% Occupancy and are located at very busy e areas as mentioned in the above case where the hotel the located near bus stand to railway station need not list the hotels on ots. If they do then they need to handle inventory very carefully.
